You have 8 snooker balls.
7 of them are identical in every way. The eighth one is identical to the others
in every aspect except for its weight which is slightly different to the others.
You have a 2-pan weighing scale and are allowed to make 3 weighings to
determine which ball is the odd one, AND whether it is heavier or lighter than
the rest.
It is possible! Prove it! :-)
