Try to beat the minotaur
Solved!!! Robin gave me a wonderful solution. He's written a Java program to calculate sets of solutions for each maze. I tried his solution for maze 15 (~250 moves) and it worked. Mad props! Christian Maurer and Axel Diernfellner improved upon this with a solution of only 185 moves. John LoDolce then found a solution with only 182 moves!
OK, I'm linking to someone else's puzzle, but it's a damn good one, and a hard one at that. In this applet, you are Theseus using your wits to try to escape a fairly stupid minotaur. There are 15 mazes. Click on the image above to find the applet.
